Following in the tradition of such groups as the Wu-Tang Clan and A Tribe Called Quest is the Atlanta duo OutKast whose 2000 album Stankonia propelled them to mainstream success.
OutKast Organized Noize and schoolmates Goodie Mob formed the nucleus of the Dungeon Family organization.

The film is written by Scot Armstrong (Old School), directed by Kent Alterman, produced by Jimmy Miller, and will be released on February 29, 2008.

In 1999 OutKast and LaFace Records were sued by Rosa Parks over the albums most successful radio single which bore Parks name as its title.
